Dr. Parks has had a number of spiritual encounters which have contributed to her strong faith, culminating with a medical incident just 9 days after childbirth that left her literally dead on the operating table. She was put in a coma to save her life and miraculously made a complete recovery. Now, she’s taking the lessons from that event and from her book: The Heart Feels it First, to share other recovery stories and bring hope through the Heart Matters Podcast.
